This policy explains what personal data Nexus Transfers & Tours handles when you ask us for a transfer, a tour or a proposal for your company, what we use it for and what rights you have over it.
Who is responsible
Nexus Transfers & Tours, a travel agency registered under RNAVT no. 13442, based in Leiria, Portugal. For anything about your data, write to nexus.transfers.tours@gmail.com.
What data we handle
- Name, phone or WhatsApp number and e-mail address.
- Trip details: pickup and drop-off places, date, time, flight number, number of passengers and bags, and children's ages when you ask for a child seat.
- Payment and invoicing details, where applicable.
- For companies, the details of the visitors you ask us to drive.
We receive this data directly from you, on WhatsApp, by e-mail or by phone. The form on this website stores nothing: it only prepares the message you choose to send us on WhatsApp.
What we use it for
- Answering your request, confirming the booking and making the trip, including tracking your flight and agreeing the meeting point (performance of a contract or steps taken at your request before one).
- Issuing invoices and meeting tax and accounting obligations (legal obligation).
- Handling complaints and defending our rights (legitimate interest).
We do not sell your data or use it for third-party advertising.
Who can see it
- The driver who makes your trip and the people who manage bookings at Nexus.
- Our accountant, for invoicing.
- The providers of the services we use to communicate and to run this website: WhatsApp (Meta), Gmail (Google) and Hostinger (website hosting). Some of these providers may process data outside the European Union, with the safeguards set out in the General Data Protection Regulation.
- Public authorities, when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep booking details for as long as we need them to provide the service and deal with any complaints. Invoicing records are kept for the period required by tax and accounting law.
Cookies and statistics
This website does not use cookies or any analytics or advertising tools. The fonts are hosted on the website itself. The hosting server logs technical access data, such as IP addresses, for security and operation.
Your rights
You can ask us for access to your data, to correct or delete it, to restrict its use, for portability, and to object to its processing, as provided by law. Just write to the e-mail address above. If you believe your data is not being handled properly, you can complain to the Portuguese data protection authority (Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados) at www.cnpd.pt.
